Carbon Wrap Empty
PostSubject: Carbon Wrap   Carbon Wrap EmptyWed Jan 12 2011, 20:33

I'm wondering if anyone on here would like to do some for me. I've searched thru ebay but unsure of the best stuff to get. I want to wrap my centre console, dash centre, door handle inserts.

Anyone ??

It's the 3M carbon vinyl that you want mate.

I've done all my interior bits myself.

That's the stuff.
I know there's cheaper out there, but it's not worth it.
If you screw up using the 3M then you just heat it, unfold it and start again.

Here's a shot of the bits I did in the Passat...
(the ashtray was a right b!tch).

It's not the shape of the ashtray thats the problem.
It's the fact you have to take the whole of the centre console/armrest/handbrake area out to remove it.
Taking all that off is bad enough, re-fitting it again is worse.
