Ive had a few problems with the mk2 16v the past 2 days. Why does this happen after Ive put it up for sale and said how reliable it is?

1st I think is the ignition switch.
I had a problem with it being hard to turn the key without fiddling it about a while back but it's been ok lately.
This morning the wipers, heater and headlights didnt work.
Ill try another relay in there later if I have one.

2nd problem is the oil light has been flickering when the car is at idle after it has been driven a little while. This has been happening for the last 2 days but didnt do it this morning.

Anyone know much about these?

£7 ignition switch and all is well again.
Not got it attached to the barrel yet but it's plugged in and working under the dash temporarily.
If the lights still work but the heater, electric windows and wipers don't it's the relay.
