T4 2.5tdi 102 in ice blue. Electric windows and mirrors, central locking, towbar.
Mechanically great and just needs tlc to the bodywork which i was'nt to fussed about

I've already removed the bulkhead.

It will be my commuter but i'll be transforming it slowly into a day van for family weekends away. I also wanted 1 for moving building materials and car parts for my projects so it'll be a useful tool.

Cheers guys, got some springs on the way so hopefully have it lowered a bit at the weekend

Nice solid looking van. T4's are the way forward I'm keeping mine forever. What springs did you go for? I'm told the lwb can be tricky to get right.

50mm hd's will be spot on for a lwb If your useing it as a van. I Am quite low now with my interior and still not changed my shocks. So I wouldn't worry to much.
I'll do a straight swap single for twin if you like. I need a single base when I redo my cab.

Was going to hold on to the single for when I have a rock an roll bed etc mate otherwise I'd of gladly swapped.
Going away in it next Friday and need the extra seat for gem and Harrison

Fair enough I may know where there is another one. A bloke with the unit across from where I work has loads of t4 bits I'll nip and see him tomorrow.

Hi mate he has got one and he wants £50 for it. however I didn't have time to go and look at it to find out what type it is (2 types 1 that folds down with a lap belt and 1 with 2 three point belts and I guess you'd want the 2nd one with a child) I won't see him again until tuesday now mate so if the price is good i'll go and see him then. If it's no good when I see it you can always borrow mine for your trip. So as long as you can get to Soham next week I can sort you out one way or another.

Little update

One of my workmates pulled out the crease in the drivers side centre panel yesterday, filled, reshaped and primed a bit. Plenty good for me to work with now. I lacquared over it today, just to seal it from the weather as it'll be some time before i get to painting it properly in the booth.


My 50mm HD springs came a couple of days ago so within 40 mins, i had it closer to terra firma

Little update

Finally picked up a twin passenger seat a couple of weeks ago so i was able to take my wife and lil boy to sherwood centre parc's in it. No problems with karting all our stuff plus my mtb up there this time lol




Last weekend i fitted new upper ball joints thanks to the loan of the sealey tool by a member on the T4 forum

Today i fitted a cannons forge bed that i was offered last week and also tidied the front end up by replacing the bumper(collected whilst up sherwood) and the grill. Ive also fitted a new drivers wing mirror.
I lowered the front another 10mm to compensate for the bed weight.




I do have seatbelts for the RNR bed on order so once they go in, i'll refit the single passenger seat.

ruddy hell! not wasting any time here are you, was months before i started mine. cant go wrong with a cannons forge bed, thats what i went for.

Yeah man, i dont hang about lol. Was'nt in the market for buying the bed just yet as i wanted some rims but the price was too good to turn down. Seatbelts arrive today so i should have them mounte at the weeken once i've bought some longer high tensile bolts.

The bumper is new mate, just has a few storage scratch marks on it. I binned the old one today at work, was going to keep it for mocking spoilers up etc but did'nt want to store it.

Update

Single passenger seat re-fitted
Black carpet mat fitted in the cab area
Rear seatbelts now fitted to the RNR bed

Droplinks replaced. I used tyre dressing to lube them up and brute force to push them on


Also purchased some wheels today so as soon as they arrive, i'll get some pic's up

You need shorter droplinks when going very low. I should be ok as I've got for 18in wheels

How low is very low my one has 60s on it with 18sit handles great really i do want to replace all the wish bone bushings at some point

60 profile tyres on an 18in wheel!!, damn your speedo must be well out mate. You should drop to a 40 or 45 profile bud

No i mean lowerd 60mm i have 45s for rubber its not a tracktor
