| Here they are on the car despite being very high on axle stands. Afraid its not gonna be on the road for some time yet though as ive started taking it to bits to respray some parts and im finding myself taking more and more apart. Wont be long before the whole engine is out, which wouldnt be a bad thing as the original engine wont be going back in again | |

| Ive decided to fit the upgraded GTi discs and pads to my car as i have the VW11 calipers and found Brembo discs and pads for £50 brand new which seems reasonable considering the very cheapest crap is around £40. | |

| All parts used are genuine VW original/standard parts, just not originally fitted in my car.
The bumpers that were on there wernt the originals and painted grey which needed to go haha.

| Should be fine with the polys mate as they split so they push in from both sides. You should fit a front arb while your at it Ar5e end pic looks great btw | |

| There the single piece poly's Lee, the powerflex ones are the two piece bushes.
And thats interesting as prefer the look from the front with them bumpers.
I have been looking at the ARB, infact ive bought the bar for a bargain £5 from a local lad, but could do with pics of how brackets fix and how many fixings etc as ive never had an ARB on my mk1's.

| Well maybe some lube and a vice will push the bushes in then mate
The arb is held on by 2 U brackets, 1 either side and are bolted where the small holes are in your wishbones. You need the rear wishbone mounts that have the brackets built in. I can get you a pic if needed
