| the two i had were very similar, one was 9a, and one was ABF. The water holes were very slightly offset in the ABF one, when layed over the 9a one. I used the 9a one as the holes lined up perfectly. I know they can both be used, however the one i had here, didnt line up great, and the one in my loft was perfect. so the better one went on! Wasnt doing anything wrong tiz, apart from making observations, and thinking in the best interests of the engine. The new gasket is a steel one anyhow, so is the stronger type you said about :-) | |

| Seemed to have developed a mystery problem?? Engine's now running like a dream all apart from wot seems to be an earth problem which causes my rev counter, clock, and gauges to die if i turn on my lights?? Also out of the blue on Sun. my engine completly died when i dipped the clutch but fired up again soon as i lifted/bumped again, now it tried to do this a couple of times but kept her goin by revvin her, seemed to sort itself out after a few times and little tear about, it then didn't happen again till today leaving work, did it couple of times then after that ok?? Bit strange?? M | |

| Was it cutting out when hot? idling? or just randomly when driving? You really need to think about a change of suspension. I took it down the back roads from mine | |
