This is the only pic at the moment mk3 vr 263249 havent had time to give it a real clean yet just a quick wash&wax. More pics at the weekend .. couple of things im going to change, can't see in this pic but i will be putting some standard, possibly smoked headlamps in rather than the mk4 style ones in it now and also maybe revert back to a standard grill but will see how this one looks with origional lights first.

My lm reps will be put on at the weekend for a tester just to see how they look but i think there could be some rubbing issues with 18x8's mk3 vr Icon_lol

First vr i have driven and im very pleased with it mk3 vr Icon_biggrin

I think i may have to invest in some earplugs to block out the noise of the vr as its costing me too much in petrol at the moment, its too tempting to open it up and hear it mk3 vr Lol

Small update.. changed the front lights and grill to standard mk3 ones. The ones that were on it were ok but i think i just prefere the look of the standard stuff. Couldnt get mullberry paint in halfords not even with the paint code, so the bottom metal strip of the grill is done in black for now. It was a bit rusty and blue mk3 vr Icon_lol

Before- mk3 vr SDC10324

After but a crappy phone pic- mk3 vr Image0106

I may pop the other lights back in next weekend to see what they look like with the standard grill.

In all fairness, it looked like it was sitting pretty well on the 18's yesterday.
I was surprised at how well they suited the car.
How does it drive with them on?

The rears scrub alot when the road is bumpy.. but other than that they are fine. They dont catch at all on full lock or anything. Only problem with them is the mk3 hub sticks out too far to get the rear centre caps on, and can't use spaces as it already catches on the arch lip.

I may see what the oem S3 wheels look like on it aswell but they have huge tyres on so will need swapping for smaller ones.

Had a little bit of adjustment today, and managed to make it so it no longer scrubs.. just.

Wheels are clearly too big for the car but its the best as i can get it sitting with no spacers and no rubbing.

This pic makes the front look rubbish but its not quite as bad in reality
